Taking Care of Business

Greetings from Managua.  I hear it's freezing back home.  At this moment the sun is shining and there is a gentle breeze.  Managua mornings and evenings are beautiful.  Afternoon sun is a brutal 90+ degrees.

Lunch on Friday with Violeta Zamoran, coordinator for our Honest Answers Program.  She expressed a need for help on researching and follow up from workshops.  There are also many requests for 'the next step' program.

Saturday morning we had an opportunity to attend Peter's youngest son, Dylan, baseball game.  He is the top pitcher in his league.  He is also the leading hitter with a batting average of over 600.  I think it would be great to bring Doug Bair or Paul O'Neill to do a coaching clinic. The kids lack the basics.  Anyway, back to business.  I was doing baseball while Charlene and Peter were discussing the needs of our partners.

Yesterday Wilder joined us as we visited Neida and her children, David and Maria.  We discovered many years ago Neida did beautiful crochet work. We helped her begin a small business, in addition to bringing her handmade Christmas ornaments and other items to the States.  They have been very popular at Nica Nocha.  We were happy to see the family is doing well.

Blog on tomorrow or sign on or whatever the proper tech-term is,
Al
