It has been nearly one year since Wilder had his kidney
transplant. The past few months have
been filled with days of feeling good and days of feeling not so good. The not-so-good days have become more
frequent. The doctors in Nicaragua have
been unable to find the exact cause of his loss of weight, diarrhea, vomiting,
and pain. Although we feel certain the
new kidney is not being rejected, we think it is necessary to bring him back to
Cincinnati to have the transplant team evaluate his condition.
Please pray for Wilder as he travels back to Cincinnati with
us February 16. Please pray that the
doctors will determine the cause of his medical issues and bring him to good
health so that he can return to his job, his wife, Elba, and his new son,
Andrew.
